Norwegian Cruise Line Cancels Another Round of 2025 & 2026 Sailings

Just weeks after Norwegian Cruise Line canceled almost 40 sailings from its 2025 to 2026 schedule, the cruise line is making another round of changes on three ships.

Norwegian this week canceled cruises on Norwegian Encore from November 2025 through January 2026; on Bliss from November 2025 through March 2026; and on Breakaway from January 2026 through February 2026.

Norwegian confirmed the changes to TMR on Wednesday, and also confirmed where those ships will head to instead: Norwegian Breakaway will offer itineraries to the Southern Caribbean and the Bahamas from New York City; Norwegian Bliss will remain on the West Coast and offer sailings to the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles; and Norwegian Encore will extend in Miami throughout the winter months offering cruises to the Western Caribbean

Norwegian is giving any impacted guest a full refund of their paid fare along with a 10% future cruise credit to be used on any published sailing through Dec. 31, 2026.

In a statement to TMR, a spokesperson for NCL said that “while we try to maintain original itineraries as much as possible, occasionally, scheduled itineraries may need to be cancelled, to allow the opportunity to introduce enhanced voyages that accommodate strong guest demand and provide a more immersive experience.”

The last round of cancellations on Norwegian Jewel, Star, and Dawn, saw those ships move homeports and add different itineraries, including Jewel going from Tampa to Miami, Dawn going from a season in and around Africa to the Western Caribbean, and Star going from South America and Antarctica to the Southern Caribbean.
