Delta Air Lines will debut Delta Premium Select on flights between New York-JFK and Los Angeles-LAX beginning Sept. 10.

Passengers flying on four peak-day flights between the two cities will be able to upgrade to Delta Premium Select, which first launched in 2017 on international flights and offers more leg room, elevated food and beverage options, and other comforts.

“Delta Premium Select will bring a new level of comfort, luxury, and practicality to one of Delta’s most important routes in the domestic U.S. as we continue to work to deliver more premium experiences to our customers,” said Maurico Parise, vice president of brand experience design. “This product has been a success internationally, especially following the recent investments we’ve made onboard.”

The Delta Premium Select experience was recently updated to offer more locally inspired food, dedicated service, premium amenities, and the option to pre-select onboard meals. The flight class currently operates on most of Delta’s trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific flights, as well as on some routes to Latin America.

Delta SkyMiles Medallion members will get complimentary upgrade options to the domestic Delta Premium Select, which will at first debut on four peak-day flights between New York and Los Angeles and expand to additional flights thereafter.

Passengers can expect a memory-foam pillow, noise-canceling headsets, plush blanket made from recycled materials, and travel essentials kit on their seats when they fly Delta Premium Select.
