Grand Hyatt Expands Overseas

January 28, 2016

Grand Hyatt is adding to its portfolio of more than 40 hotels with three new ones this year–in Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines.

The Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro will debut this spring, ahead of this summer’s Olympic games. The five-star hotel will have 436 rooms, each with a balcony view of the Atlantic Ocean or the Marapendi Lagoon, plus three restaurants, a spa, and a fitness room. It will be located in the heart of the Barra da Tijuca, a short distance from Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon.

The 428-room Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Residences Emirates Pearl features suites and full-service apartments, eight restaurants, multiple meeting venues, and a ballroom. There are also two outdoor pools, a spa, fitness area, private beach facilities, and two cinemas.

Grand Hyatt Manila Hotel and Residences will be part of a two-tower upscale mixed-use building in the residential, entertainment, and business district of Fort Bonifacio Global City in Metro Manila. The hotel will be located on the top 14 floors of the 66-story office and hotel tower, and will feature 438 guest rooms.
