Avanti Destinations Expands Fixed-Price Product Line to North Africa & the Middle East

Avanti Destinations is expanding its fixed-price FIT (foreign independent travel) packages to North Africa and the Middle East.

Avanti Destinations launched its fixed-price packages last October, unveiling microsites for Asia, Latin America, and the South Pacific.

Now, the travel-advisor exclusive tour operator has added a North African and the Middle East microsite, which details 12 new land fixed-price, non-customizable FIT vacations in Morocco, Egypt, and Jordan, as well as customizable vacations in the United Arab Emirates.

The microsites do not require a login to access and contain information about the tours, such as itinerary details, maps, and prices.

“We’ve developed the microsite to serve as an educational and inspirational resource for advisors and their clients who might be interested in exploring lesser-known, more exotic destinations,” said Paul Barry, Avanti Destinations’ CEO. “While many consumers are familiar with popular European or Caribbean destinations, this site can help them visualize the unique experiences their advisor can create for them in North Africa and the Middle East.”

Avanti Destinations’ New Land Tour Packages in North Africa & the Middle East

Avanti Destinations created the new packages in response to advisor feedback.

“Advisors’ clients typically have wanted to see as much of Morocco as they can–so our customizable Grand Tour of Morocco has been popular,” said Barry. “In Egypt, the typical vacation includes Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, most often via a Nile cruise. We now also offer a fixed-price land-based itinerary in Egypt. The most popular places in Jordan have been Petra, the Dead Sea and Wadi Rum. In the UAE, most itineraries are Dubai-centric with day tours to Abu Dhabi and the occasional add-on of an overnight stay in a tented Bedouin-style camp.”

The new fixed-price, non-customizable land tours are:

  • Morocco Escape: an eight-day tour focusing on Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, Agafay Desert, and Essaouira. Prices start at $5,599 (4-star hotels) or $9,075 (5-star), per person, double occupancy.
  • Ultimate Morocco: a 12-day tour through Casablanca the historical capital cities Rabat, Fez, and Marrakesh. Prices start at $13,525 (4-star hotels) or $18,925 (5-star), per person, double occupancy.

  • Egypt Escape: an eight-day tour of destination highlights, including private tours of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Hanging Church. This itinerary also includes a four-night cruise and all meals on M/S Hamees or M/S Sunray. Prices start at $3,725, per person, double occupancy.
  • Egypt Explorer: a 10-day package with similar land options as Egypt Escape, but with additional time in Luxor. There is an option to add a three-night stay in the oasis of Siwa. Prices start at $3,875 or $6,849 for the Siwa stay, per person, double occupancy.
  • Essential Jordan: the six-day tour of Jordan visits the capital Amman, the ancient archeological site of Petra, and the Dead Sea. Prices start at $2,125 (4-star) or $2,699 (5-star), per person, double occupancy.
  • Ultimate Jordan: an eight-day package that includes private tours of Jerash, Amman, Petra, and Madaba, as well as one day and one night in Wadi Rum, a protected desert wilderness, famous for its dramatic rock formations and prehistoric petroglyphs. Prices start at $2,599 (4-star) or $3,325 (5-star).
