For the first time in its more than decade-long history, Travel Market Place (TMP), the flagship conference from Travel Market Report (TMR), is coming to the majority French-speaking Canadian province of Quebec.

TMP Montreal, the newest addition to Canada’s most popular travel trade conference series, will take place on May 11th, 2026, at the Bonaventure Montreal hotel.

The inaugural conference will welcome up to 250 French-speaking travel advisors and 40 travel suppliers. All content will be delivered ‘en français’ and specifically curated for Quebec’s travel advisor community.

TMP Toronto 2025 was the largest-ever travel trade conference in Canada, with over 800 attendees.

“I’m beyond excited for TMP Montreal! After launching TMR Quebec in early 2025, it felt like a natural next step to bring TMP to this new market,” said Catherine Maisonneuve, the editor of TMR Quebec.

“Quebec has always been a very unique segment, and TMR understands it well. That’s why we’re all coming together for one incredible day of learning and networking in Montreal in 2026. See you there!”

TMR publisher Brian Israel added: “Montreal is an important market for the travel trade, and one we have wanted to serve for a long time. We are so happy to be able to bring our unique perspective as the voice of the travel advisor community to Montreal and build a conference that makes a real difference in the business of travel advisors. We can’t wait to see you next year.”

While there is a lot more to be revealed, advisors can expect the same high-quality, high-level content that has made TMP the most popular travel trade conference in all of Canada.

“Feedback from Quebec advisors and the suppliers has been overwhelming,” said John Kirk, Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief for TMR Canada. “They’re telling us this is something the market has been lacking and they’re eager to work with us.”

Kirk adds: “The reaction to TMP Montreal is gratifyingly similar to the warm welcome received from Canadian advisors and suppliers when TMR Canada took flight in January. Despite a crowded marketplace, the industry has made room for a much-needed publication dedicated to acting as the voice of the travel advisor.”

More details about the conference, including the emcee, will be announced soon. Registration is not yet open, but you can be the first to know when it does by registering for Super Early Bird notification. Those interested in exhibiting can reach out to info@travelmarketplace.com.

This newest addition expands TMR’s portfolio to five travel trade conferences, which include editions in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary, along with the invite-only Travel Market Place Leadership Exchange (TMPLE) that takes place each January.

TMP Toronto 2025, the 11th edition of the flagship conference that took place last June, marked the largest ever travel trade conference in Canada, with more than 800 suppliers and advisors attending.
