Sold-Out Travel Market Place Vancouver Gets Underway

Travel MarketPlace Vancouver kicked off Tuesday night with their Ambassador Program.

Travel Market Place Vancouver 2025 kicked off Tuesday night, bringing together 356 Western Canada travel advisors along with more than 70 suppliers from across North America. Running through February 13, the sold-out event is also serving this year as the launch-pad for the new Travel Market Report Canada website.

Over more than a decade, the Travel Market Place events produced by Travel Market Report have become the go-to gathering places for Canadian travel advisors seeking education, enrichment, and networking opportunities. This year there are 80 advisors on a wait-list, who will get preferential admission for 2026.

There are currently three annual events in Canada, with TMP Vancouver kicking off the 2025 schedule. Future events will be held in Toronto June 24-25 and Calgary September 24-25. This year also marked the first-ever Travel Market Place Leadership Exchange, an invitation-only event where 25 fully-hosted top Canadian travel agency owners travelled to Cancun for one-on-one meetings with 25 leading supplier executives. 60 advisors met with 16 suppliers in Vancouver Tuesday night as part of TMP’s Ambassador Program.

Earlier this year, Travel Market Report announced a major further investment into the Canadian market. The company expanded its Canadian editorial team to enhance the representation of travel advisors and provide detailed coverage and analysis of industry-related news crafted and curated specifically for a Canadian audience.

“We are pleased to announce the official launch of our Travel Market Report Canada website,” said John Kirk, Executive Director & Editor in Chief – Canada. “Together with our experienced editorial team, we aim to provide comprehensive news and insights for the travel industry. Launching our new site at Travel Market Place Vancouver, surrounded by industry professionals, marks an important milestone.”

Travel Market Place Vancouver offers advisors a unique chance to network, attend educational seminars, and connect with suppliers to grow their business. The three-day event kicked off with an Ambassador Program event on Tuesday night, enabling 60 top advisors generating over $1 million annually to meet with leading supplier partners. The event continues Wednesday and Thursday with a series of educational sessions, trade show and networking opportunities.

“The growth that we’ve seen in our Vancouver shows has been absolutely incredible,” Brian Israel SVP & Publisher, Travel Market Report told the Ambassador Program crowd Tuesday night.  “Our main goal is to make sure you are successful every single day, whether you’re an advisor or a supplier. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we wouldn’t be here without you.”
