“I Am Most Impressed by the Strong Level of Engagement” – Christine Guy on the Impact of TMP Events

Christine Guy, Owner & CEO of Travel and Repeat.

Planning for the 2026 Travel Market Place (TMP) events in Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary is underway which will see Montreal join the schedule for the very first time!

We spoke with suppliers after our events, and now it’s time to hand the mic to the travel advisors who attended. After all, success is a group effort and we wanted to share what they learned at our TMP events and how important they think the events are to fellow advisors.

First up is Christine Guy, Owner/CEO of Travel and Repeat, part of the Tisson Travel Group.

TMP: How important is it for you to participate in the TMP events across Canada?

Guy: “Participating in TMP events across Canada is important because it helps me build professional connections, stay aligned and build connections with suppliers and stay up to date on information, share knowledge, and raise my visibility and impact within the TMP community.

Tell us about the quality of Suppliers you are seeing at the events?

“The quality of suppliers at TMP events has been consistently high, they are well-prepared to answer questions, they offer innovative and practical solutions, and are open to collaboration and feedback which offers Travel Agents peace of mind, knowing they are backing our businesses and supporting our growth in the travel industry.”

What are you most impressed by about the TMP events?

“I am most impressed by the strong level of engagement at TMP events, the quality of discussions, and the opportunity to connect with knowledgeable peers and suppliers who are focused on practical, real-world solutions.”

What would you say to an agent who has not attended a TMP event before?

“I would tell them that TMP events are well worth attending—they offer valuable learning, strong networking opportunities not only with suppliers but other agents and agencies, and practical insights that can immediately benefit their work and professional growth.”

Any general comments on TMR Canada and the TMP shows?

“TMR Canada and the TMP shows are well organized, professional, and highly valuable. They consistently bring together quality suppliers, knowledgeable agents, and relevant content, making the events an excellent platform for learning, collaboration, and staying current with industry trends.”
