5 Ways to Earn More Money…with Goway

Goway offers advisors more ways to get more.

Speaking with suppliers at conferences and events, we often hear that they wish more travel advisors would maximize their earnings and make more efficient use their time by taking advantage of company-specific incentives, loyalty programs, self-service tools and more. So we decided to offers suppliers a forum to promote the practices they believe will lead to higher earnings for advisors. This weekly series will run every Friday. To kick things off, Travel Market Report Canada spoke to Rares Dumitru, National Account Manager at Goway Travel.

Goway says it is committed to helping travel advisors earn more and expand their business while crafting tailor-made dream vacations. The company says the top way for travel advisors to earn money beyond commission is through the GowayPro Loyalty Program.

Sell Goway Like a Pro

“The more you book the more money you make,” said Dumitru. “You can earn rewards on every sale you make and reward levels are determined on the past year’s sales with Goway. Advisors can level up each year to earn more on each booking.”

In honour of Goway’s 55th Anniversary, every travel advisor that is a member of the GowayPro Loyalty Program has received $20 in their Goway Pro account. In total, that adds up to $550,000. When the account reaches a minimum of $50, it can be redeemed and used anywhere online where Mastercard is accepted.

“It’s a small way of saying thank you and helping our community earn more during our anniversary year,” said Dumitru. “It gives our partners a bit of a boost and reinforces that when you work with Goway, you can make more than your commission.”

Sell the World, See the World

The world of Goway is divided into six destination regions. When you sell five of those six within a calendar year, you earn a free fam trip for the next year. It’s a great way to explore the world and learn more about Goway’s destinations. Full details are here.

More Ways to Learn & Earn

With the GowayPro Travel Academy, you can increase your destination knowledge with video-based modules on over 60 Goway destinations. It’s free to sign up and if you complete a country module and book a trip to that country within 6 months, you earn $50 in bonus rewards.

Goway launched new branding last year.

Unique Monthly Incentives

GowayPro is one of the most robust supplier loyalty programs in the marketplace, with many ways to boost income beyond commission. These include unique monthly incentives and monthly GowayPro Spotlights on one of Goway’s internal divisions. For example, the company is currently offering $50 bonus rewards on trips to the Americas for May.

Are You Ready for Your Closeup?

To recognize its 55th Anniversary, Goway is launching the Micro Film Festival, celebrating social media storytelling with 55-second travel videos. Travel advisors have an exclusive invitation to participate.

Advisors who submit inspirational 55-second travel videos get a chance to win a completed Passport to a Free FAM and have their films screened in Toronto and Los Angeles. The grand-prize winner will get tickets to attend a screening event in Los Angeles in September, including hotel, airfare, and $550 of GowayPro Rewards.

Goway’s team of highly experienced destination specialists is keen to share its knowledge with Goway partners through useful advice, including the following timely articles: Destinations Where CA Dollar Goes a Long Way and Tips for Helping Clients Get the Most Value for their Trips.“We want our partners to succeed, because that’s when we succeed,” said Dumitru. “When you add it all together, we offer a lot of ways to earn more, and they’re there for the taking.”
