TICO Orders Immediate Suspension of Temple & Temple Tours

TICO Orders Immediate Suspension of Temple & Temple Tours

TICO has added new resources to its Registrant Toolkit.

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has issued an Immediate Temporary Suspension Order to suspend the registration of Temple & Temple Tours Inc. (TICO Registration # 2970024), a travel agency based in Toronto that specializes in educational tours for student group travel.

“Temple & Temple Tours Inc. must cease all travel sales and counselling activity immediately,” TICO stated, noting that it has also issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke the company’s registration.

Temple & Temple Tours Inc. is entitled to a hearing by the Licence Appeal Tribunal about the proposal to revoke its registration.

TICO said that it is alleged that Temple & Temple Tours Inc. has not been financially responsible in the conduct of its business, is carrying on activities in contravention of the Travel Industry Act, 2002 (the Act), and there are reasons to believe that it will not carry on business in accordance with the law and with integrity and honesty as per section 8 of the Act.For more information about suspensions, please click here.
