Regent Seven Seas Cruises has promoted Amelie Dubois to Director of Sales & Marketing for Canada, effective immediately.

In her new role, Dubois will lead the sales and marketing strategy for the Canadian market, while bolstering relationships with travel advisors.

The Florida-based exec will report to Jerod Evans, senior director, field sales & strategic partnerships, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

“Amelie is a seasoned cruise professional with a wealth of experience and her passion for ultra luxury travel is second to none. I’m excited to see how Amelie continues to build the Regent brand in Canada and help our valued Travel Partners earn more,” said Evans.

Dubois first entered the cruise industry in 2010, joining Royal Caribbean as an inside sales representative. She became a business development manager at Regent in 2019.

“I am so excited to continue my cruising career with Regent and take on this new challenge as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Canadian market,” said Dubois. “I’ve been fostering strong relationships in the region since I began my career in cruising 15 years ago and to step into the world of ultra luxury cruising with Regent has been an incredible experience.”

Dubois’ promotion follows Beverley Vickers’ retirement, announced last October. The long-time cruise industry veteran built a distinguished career over 28 years—14 of which were spent at Regent.

“Following in the footsteps of Beverley is a big responsibility and she will be hugely missed within the industry. However, I am looking forward to seeing what Amelie achieves as she picks up the baton and becomes the go-to name for our valued Travel Advisors in Canada,” added Dubois.
