Virgin Voyages Reveals More Details of First-Ever Alaska Voyages
by Dori Saltzman /Virgin Voyages’ “Brilliant” Alaska cruises will feature stops in Ketchikan, Sitka, and Prince Rupert, B.C. among other ports, as well as scenic cruising in Tracy Arm. Itineraries, departing from Seattle and Vancouver, will range from seven to 12 nights.
In addition to the port calls, Virgin Voyages will make some onboard enhancements, including featuring locally sourced Alaska seafood in select venues.
The Alaska season onboard Brilliant Lady, 17 sailings in total, will operate between May and September 2026, with the first voyage departing May 21, 2026, from Seattle.
“We have incredibly high repeat rates, so our Sailors are always challenging us to seek new horizons; they always want to know ‘where else can we sail with Virgin?'” said Virgin Voyages’ CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu. “… The sold-out response to our Front(ier) of the Line passes earlier this year showed us just how sought after our Alaskan itineraries are.”
Access for presale passholders opens on Thurs., Oct. 31, 2025. Bookings for the general public open Nov. 13.
