First Vib Hotel in North America Breaks Ground Near Midway

Best Western International began construction on its $8 million “urban boutique” hotel, The Vib Chicago. The first one of the brand to open in North America, it will offer 74 rooms near Chicago/Midway International Airport. The new chain is geared towards younger travelers, and will feature media walls in the lobby and smart TVs in guest rooms.. 

Five other Vib Hotels are slated to open by the end of 2016, in Miami, Las Angeles, Staten Island, Little Rock, and Springfield. 

In March, the company announced its first international location would be developed in Seoul, South Korea.
