Hilton Brings Hampton Brand To China
Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of its flagship Hampton hotel in Guangzhou, China, last week.
Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town is located in the Tianhe District in Guangdong Province. The 223-room hotel has a multi-functional lobby, signature Hampton restaurant, meeting rooms, and fitness center, as well as free WiFi.
Hilton signed a development agreement with Plateno Hotels Group, and the two companies plan to bring hundreds of Hampton hotels to China’s growing middle class over the next several years.
The mid-priced Hampton brand now operates more than 2,100 hotels in 20 countries.
