JetBlue Airways recently announced plans to introduce a nonstop service linking New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Boston Logan International Airport.

The new, expanded service between Boston and LaGuardia will complement JetBlue’s existing service from Boston to both New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), resulting in up to 22 daily flights to New York’s three major metropolitan airports from Logan International Airport.

“JetBlue continues to grow, as we attract more and more customers on the important route between Boston and New York with our low fares and award-winning service,” said Scott Laurence, head of revenue and planning, at JetBlue. “This momentum continues throughout our Boston network as we add more flights on a variety of routes to meet the needs of travelers looking for the best in comfort and customer service.”

The carrier will operate the flights using the Embraer E190 aircraft, and will feature comfortable two-by-two seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and satellite television programming.
