St. Maarten Launches Digital Entry Form for Visitors

St. Maarten is launching a new automated border control system, which means there’s a new process to enter the country.

Effective Oct. 8, travelers must complete a digital entry form before boarding their flight to Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIAE). The document, available at www.entry.sx, asks for passport information, contact information, and accommodation and flight information.

Each traveler in a group must fill out an individual entry form. The new system applies only to plane arrivals, including those passing through, residing in, and visiting St. Maarten. It does not affect passengers arriving on a cruise ship.

The initiative, which was partially implemented in 2017, is part of an overhaul of PJIAE. The airport is undergoing a construction project that will conclude in fully renovated terminals and Arrival Hall.
