Travel agents booking with Carnival Cruise Line will now get the opportunity for extra commissions as part of the line’s “Be the Hero” program.

The program, announced this week, will give agents the ability to get upgrade offers, ranging from an interior to an oceanview or balcony and an oceanview to a balcony or suite, from Carnival to use for their booked clients. All are based on availability.

The offers will be sent to enrolled agents on a weekly basis starting Apr. 11, 2018. Agents will get the offers through the GoCCL.com travel agent portal.

“We know how much our guests value the experience of booking with travel agents, and this upgrade opportunity provides an additional way for agents to deliver enhanced sales and service to their clients,” said Carnival’s Senior Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez.

Registration is open through Apr. 4.
