Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio brand has made its debut in the all-inclusive space with the opening of Crystal Cove, Barbados, A Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort.
The refreshed 88-room property is part of an overhaul of Marriott’s Barbados Collection, a set of three properties that are rebranding and becoming all-inclusive this year. Crystal Cove opened Feb. 12, while Turtle Beach, Barbados, A Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort will open May 1, and Tamarind Resort, Barbados, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort will open May 17.
“Bringing Tribute Portfolio into an all-inclusive setting is an exciting moment for the brand as well as the entire Caribbean region,” said Brian King, president of Caribbean and Latin America at Marriott International. “Crystal Cove naturally captures what makes the brand so compelling – personality, creativity, and a true sense of community – while delivering the ease and inclusivity that we know travelers crave. Crystal Cove brings the Tribute Portfolio lens to island living in a way that feels fresh, connected and distinctly Barbadian.”
Crystal Cove is located about 16 miles from Grantley Adams International Airport and features three lagoon style pools, two restaurants, and a coffee shop, as well as offering the Dine Around Program that allows guests to dine at eateries within the Barbados Collection sister properties.
The resort also has a modernized fitness center and event space that holds 70 people. Guests have access to motorized and non-motorized water sports and a kids club that offers hands-on activities for children.
