Omni Hotels Promotes Laura Trussell McKoy to Chief Creative Officer

Dallas-based Omni Hotels & Resorts announced on Tuesday the promotion of Laura Trussell McKoy to the new role of Chief Creative Officer. McKoy is a veteran of the hotel company, with more than 18 years of experience.
In her new role, McKoy will be responsible for the interior design of both renovations and new builds for Omni, as well as overseeing the brand’s overall creative vision. She will also collaborate with the Marketing and Operations teams to ensure the brand’s visual, experiential, and storytelling elements reflect Omni’s position as a leading hospitality brand.
McKoy first joined the company as Director of Interior Design in February 2007. She later served as Creative Director and Vice President of Interior Design. Prior to her time at Omni, she held leadership positions with CNL Hotels and Resorts in Orlando, Florida, and BBGM Architects and Interiors in Washington, D.C.
