Riu Ventura has just opened next to Playa Delfines, marking RIU Hotels & Resorts’ sixth property in Cancun.
The all-inclusive resort notably features some firsts for RIU in Mexico: an exclusive adults-only area and ground floor rooms with private swim-up pools. The sixth-floor, adult-only section features a pool and a Sky Bar, and there are 36 swim-out suites among the 705 total hotel rooms.
Dining options include Kaori for Asian specialties, Agave for Mexican cuisine, and Rimini for Italian, as well as Kulinarium, a fusion restaurant; Pepe’s Food, which serves grilled dishes; Sports Bar, serving American favorites, and Tiki Tako, a Mexican taco spot. There are also six bars throughout the resort.
The resort has four spacious outdoor swimming pools, including one with a splash play area for children. It also includes the Renova Spa, RIU Land kids’ club, and the brand’s signature RIU Party events with four weekly themes: White Party, Jungle Party, Pink Party, and Neon Party.
Riu Ventura marks RIU’s 15th resort in Quintana Roo and 23rd overall in Mexico. Looking to 2026, RIU is planning for the refurbishments of Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun, the renovation of the Hotel Riu Palace México in Playa del Carmen, and construction of the Hotel Riu Palace Quintana Roo in Costa Mujeres.
