Sandals Resorts International has hinted at a Beaches resort coming to St. Vincent & The Grenadines.

Adam Stewart, Sandals’ executive chairman, recently expressed “strong interest in the destination as a potential site for future expansion under the Beaches Resorts brand,” a Sandals spokesperson said in an email to Travel Market Report.

The Caribbean resort company has been eyeing St. Vincent & The Grenadines for years now. In fact, the country’s now-Sandals resort was initially going to be a Beaches when the project was first conceived in 2020. The news comes a little over a year after that resort, Sandals St. Vincent & The Grenadines, opened, marking the company’s entry into the Eastern Caribbean region.

In its new expansion of the family-friendly resort brand, Sandals also recently announced Beaches Barbados, Beaches Exuma, and Beaches Runaway Bay Resort in Jamaica, as well as major additions to Beaches Turks & Caicos.
