Sandos Cancun to Become Adults-Only in 2025

Sandos Cancun, an all-inclusive resort in Cancun’s famous hotel zone, will become an adults-only property next year.

Starting January 1, 2025, guests must be 18 or older to stay at the beachfront resort. Sandos Cancun is already an adult-oriented concept, but the transition will solidify that experience for guests with new entertainment offerings and events.

In the recent announcement, Sandos invited guests to “rediscover the landmark beachfront resort that will have an entirely new feel.” It is the brand’s first official adults-only vacation destination in Mexico.

“We feel there is an increasing demand for exclusive 18+ model hotels in this destination specifically, so we saw an opportunity for growth for Sandos Cancun by officially pivoting the property’s position,” said Xavier Ulloa, Corporate Marketing Director, Sandos Hotels & Resorts. “Since the resort’s design and original concept was already conducive to adult-oriented travel, we felt as though this was the natural next step in the evolution of this beloved property.”

Some of the revived evening events at Sandos Cancun will include a Champagne Party, Masquerade Ball, glitzy galas, and DJ concerts under the stars. Maintaining its “Rhythm Experience” concept that connects guests with music during their stay, the resort will also have a wide array of tunes playing at its three infinity-edge pools.
