Wisconsin-based Kalahari Resorts Hit by Data Breach
Kalahari Resorts has become the latest in a string of hotel companies to be hit by a point-of-sale breach, this one at its resorts in Ohio and Wisconsin.
Data was collected from resort outlets including restaurants, bars, retail stores, and spas between May 18 and Nov. 9 of this year. Customer card numbers, cardholder names, expiration dates, and card verification codes could be at risk.
A forensics firm and the U.S. Secret Service are investigating the incident.
The company did not say how many resorts were affected.
In the past few months, Hilton and Trump Hotels have also been victims of a data breach.
