Michael Schottey

MAST Travel Network has hired Michael Schottey as its new vice president of operations and member engagement.

Schottey was previously the vice president of membership, marketing, and communications for the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and departed the organization earlier this month.

He announced his new role at MAST, the Midwest-based travel consortium, in a social media post on Wednesday.

“Have gotten to know lots of their members over the years,” Schottey said, “and excited to come in behind a fantastic new leader and friend in Andrew Davis to help take MAST into a new era and build on a fantastic foundation.”

Andrew Davis is MAST’s new vice president and COO, succeeding John Werner, who stepped down from the role at the end of 2025 after nearly 25 years leading the consortium.
