Become a Jamaica Travel Specialist

Become an expert on Jamaica’s popular attractions, its range of accommodations, and how to match clients’ special interests with a personalized experience through the Jamaica Travel Specialist Program.

After completing the course, agents will have access to special promotions, product updates and new attractions and events, as well as receive alerts with exclusive offers such as fam tours, which are organized only for graduates, and a monthly e-newsletter. Graduates will also receive a certificate of graduation, three CEU credits from The Travel Institute, VIP arrival courtesies at Sangster International Airport (for bride/groom clients too), 50 percent discount at Club Mobay & Club Kingston, independant site inspections, and a listing on visitjamaica.com. There is also a cash reward for the top-booking travel agent each month.

The Jamaica Tourist Board also launched the One Love Online Store where travel agents can redeem points earned by recording bookings. Points are calculated based on the number of clients, length of stay and value of the package.
