Why a Former Startup and Equity Investor Started a Travel Agency

by Daniel McCarthy  March 28, 2022

With the exodus caused by the pandemic in the rearview, the travel industry is again looking to attract new, innovative entrants into its fold.

Sarah Groen, Owner of Bell & Bly Travel, started her agency pre-pandemic, but her dynamic background in investment banking and startups allowed her to grow her agency 100% year-over-year twice in its short existence.

In this clip from TMR’s MasterAdvisor 49, sponsored by Explora Journeys, Groen talks about why she started a travel agency and what made the industry attractive for her next career move.

The full interview with Groen is available here.
