Blue Diamond Resorts Relaunches Rewards Program for Travel Advisors
by Briana Bonfiglio /Blue Diamond Resorts has relaunched its Blue Diamond Rewards program for travel advisors in association with MyBookingRewards.
The new online rewards platform aims to provide a simple way for advisors to boost their earnings of points, which can be converted into cash rewards. For example, advisors can earn up to 1,500 points, or $15, per room night when a three-night minimum stay is booked and logged online.
“We’re delighted to have Blue Diamond Resorts join the MBR member portfolio – we know we can support them in their quest to engage with more travel advisors across the U.S.,” said Darren Pearson, founder and CEO of MyBookingRewards. “Our agile technology and widespread reach will allow them to target the community quickly and easily with this strong booking incentive message.
“MBR is the perfect resource for suppliers looking to build meaningful advisor relationships; and the benefits swing both ways, with travel advisors able to reap excellent rewards and also pick up key know-how to help them convert more Blue Diamond enquiries into actual bookings,” he added.
Advisors can earn points on any Blue Diamond Resorts hotel, except for those in Cuba. The number of points earned is based on room category – standard room bookings earn 500 points ($5) per night, upgraded room bookings earn 1,000 points per night ($10), and Diamond Club room bookings earn 1,500 points per night ($15). So, an advisor booking a five-night stay in a standard room can earn $25, or earn $50 for booking an upgraded room.
Though there is a maximum on how much an advisor can earn per booking depending on the room type, advisors can log an unlimited amount of three-night minimum bookings at mybookingrewards.com/program/Blue-Diamond-Resorts to earn these rewards.
Blue Diamond Resorts owns several resort hotels throughout the Caribbean and Mexico, including in Antigua, Grenada, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Cancun, and Cuba.
