Hilton’s New Luxury Brand Adds First European Hotel

by Jessica Montevago  January 10, 2019
Hilton’s New Luxury Brand Adds First European Hotel

The Biltmore, Mayfair - LXR Hotels & Resorts will be situated in the heart of London’s Mayfair district with views over Grosvenor Square.

The Biltmore, Mayfair is set to open as LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton announced Wednesday, marking the new brand’s European debut.

Hilton introduced the luxury collection of independent hotels earlier this year, rebranding three properties in Dubai to kickstart its portfolio.

Now, billed as The Biltmore, Mayfair – LXR Hotels & Resorts, the brand’s latest property will reopen this spring following an agreement between Hilton and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. The former Millennium Hotel London Mayfair underwent a multimillion-dollar redevelopment after closing in July 2018.

Situated in the heart of London’s Mayfair on Grosvenor Square, the hotel will offer 257 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, many with views over Grosvenor Square, as well as 51 suites. Designed by Goddard Littlefair, the accommodations will reflect the property’s origin as “a sophisticated and elegant London private residence.”

The Biltmore, Mayfair – LXR Hotels & Resorts will boast new culinary concepts helmed by internationally renowned chefs, as well as an all-year-round alfresco terrace and cocktail bar. Other amenities include a fitness suite, a 700-guest capacity ballroom, and suites for smaller groups.
