American Express and Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality have opened a new Aspire Amex Lounge at YYC Calgary Airport, bringing their co-branded airport lounge experience to Western Canada for the first time.

Located in YYC’s domestic terminal, the new lounge gives travellers departing Calgary for destinations across Canada a premium space to relax, recharge and enjoy their journey before takeoff.

Eligible American Express Cardmembers will receive priority lounge and waitlist access, and guests can enjoy a mix of buffet offerings and tableside ordering, providing more choice throughout their visit.

The Calgary opening marks the next chapter in a growing partnership. The first co-branded Aspire Amex Lounge opened at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport in September 2025 and has since welcomed more than 50,000 Amex Cardmember visits, demonstrating strong demand.

The partnership will continue to expand in early 2027 with a new transborder Aspire Amex Lounge at YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.

“Airport lounge access is an important part of the value we deliver to our Cardmembers, particularly as we look for ways to elevate their journeys and make them more rewarding,” says Kim Kuzmak, VP of Lifestyle Benefits, Partnerships & Brand, American Express Canada.

“We saw a strong response to the Aspire Amex Lounge in Montréal, and we’re building on that momentum with Aspire to expand the experience to more Cardmembers across Canada.”

Through the expanded partnership, eligible American Express Cardmembers will receive priority lounge and waitlist access.
