Luxury tour operator Kensington has announced the appointment of two marketing executives to its leadership team, who will spearhead the tour operator’s marketing efforts with the trade and continue its strategic growth.
Toronto-based Jacqueline Grossman joins Kensington as vice president, partnership marketing. She brings more than a decade of marketing experience to the role, including over seven years at the Canadian tour operator Sunwing, where she served as vice president of marketing and corporate communications until August 2021.
Also based in Toronto, Daniel Shanahan has been appointed to the newly created role of director, partnership marketing, at Kensington. This marks Shanahan’s return to the company; he previously spent four years working with Kensington in various business development roles.
Together, the new executives will deepen relationships across tourism boards, travel suppliers, and global brands, optimizing partner performance.
“As the luxury industry evolves, partners are seeking more strategic, performance-driven ways to reach discerning travelers,” said Grossman. “Kensington is uniquely positioned to provide access to an engaged, high-value audience, offering measurable ROI, an expansive marketing ecosystem, and the credibility that comes from aligning with one of the most trusted names in luxury travel.”
The news follows Kensington’s recent expansion into expeditions. Following the company’s rebrand last November, the Kensington family now includes the brands Kensington Tours, Kensington Cruises (exclusive pre- and post-cruise land tours with cruise partners), Kensington Villas, Kensington Expeditions, and Kensington Yachts.
