Nexion Travel Group to Host Inaugural CANex 2026 Conference for Canadian Advisors

Nexion Travel Group Canada members will have a new opportunity to hear about the latest travel trends, connect with colleagues and network with supplier partners during the inaurgual CANex 2026, set for April 27-28 in Toronto.
Nexion says the program has been designed to meet the needs of Canadian members, offering education sessions and immersive networking to spark collaboration, along with some fun.
“It’s part of Nexion’s ongoing efforts to provide its travel advisors with the resources, tools and partnerships that they need to be successful,” the company stated in a press release.
At General Sessions, advisors will receive updates from Nexion Canada’s leadership team, as well as hear from preferred supplier partners. Twenty-seven preferred supplier partners are committed to attend, including representatives from cruise lines, airlines and tour operators.
Nexion staff will lead education workshops, including an advisor peer panel that will focus on ways to build/grow advisors’ businesses in an ever-changing industry.
Nexion President Jackie Friedman will lead a Think Tank, giving advisors the opportunity to discuss a variety of topics related to running their businesses. In addition to Friedman, Laura Bjorne, VP of Business Operations, and Esther Roemmele, Director of Canadian Operations, will also be on hand.
An outing to a Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox game will offer a relaxed evening of fun. As well, Air Canada Vacations will host a post-event training session for attendees on April 29, the day following CANex.
