Azamara Cruises continues the rollout of its Azamara Forward fleetwide renovation program with Azamara Onward the next ship to enter dry dock, in November 2027.
The two-week dry dock will introduce a comprehensive set of onboard upgrades including the transformation of onboard nightlife venues, the addition of a dedicated Chef’s Table experience, a reimagined Discoveries Restaurant, a full transformation of The Cabaret Lounge, refreshed staterooms and suites, and more.
“We’re excited to bring the Azamara Forward enhancements to Azamara Onward, making it the second ship in our fleet to receive this next evolution of the Azamara experience,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises. “This program reflects our continued investment in enhancing our ships while staying true to what sets Azamara apart — intimate ships, immersive destinations, and meaningful time in port. We look forward to welcoming guests aboard Azamara Onward starting November 25, 2027 to debut this exciting new chapter in our fleet.”
One new Azamara innovation that will not be rolled out to Onward is the new Penthouse Deck, which will remain exclusive to Azamara Quest.
Azamara Onward will debut its Azamara Forward enhancements on Nov. 15, 2027, when it departs on a seven-night Italy Intensive cruise from Athens to Rome. Timelines for Azamara Journey and Azamara Pursuit’s dry docks will be announced at a later date.
