The Livingston, part of the JdV by Hyatt brand, has just opened, becoming the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Brooklyn.
Developed in partnership with St. Louis-based Midas Hospitality, the new 22-story property brings 104 rooms and suites to the New York City cultural district.
“We are delighted to bring the warmth of the JdV by Hyatt brand in a way that connects with Brooklyn’s creative energy for leisure and business travelers,” said Linda Eigelberger, principal and chief commercial officer at Midas Hospitality.
The Livingston is steps away from the Barclays Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), the Brooklyn Museum, and a variety of other cultural venues. It is also near main subway stations, meaning guests are just a 15-minute ride from Manhattan and the rest of the city via public transit.
The hotel itself offers modern, airy rooms with city views, 15 of them with balconies. It also features a full-service restaurant, The Grove Lantern, and the Goldfinch Café in the lobby, as well as a rooftop terrace for events.
