Kimpton Tres Ríos, a nature-filled, all-inclusive resort, has just opened in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
True to its name, the property is located among three freshwater rivers within a privately owned, 326-acre nature park. In addition to the rivers, cenotes and the Caribbean shoreline shape the guest experience.
“Kimpton Tres Ríos brings the warmth, individuality and intuitive service that define Kimpton to one of the Riviera Maya’s most extraordinary natural settings,” said Jorge Martinez, the resort’s general manager. “From cenote-fed rivers and jungle trails to lively dining and daily moments of wonder, the resort invites guests to experience the culture and landscape of this remarkable place in a way that feels personal, generous and unmistakably Kimpton.”
At Kimpton Tres Ríos, guests can swim and kayak the cenote-fed river. They can also embark on guided tours of six of the property’s 10 cenotes and take guided nature walks. The area is home to 120 plant and 90 animal species, including spider monkeys, coatimundis, iguanas, and a variety of birds.
The resort features 355 rooms and suites, including mangrove-view rooms; one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites; and a Presidential Suite, each with a private balcony or terrace, plus connecting-room options.
The property boasts seven distinct restaurants, five bars, the 10,000-square-foot Kej Spa, a two-story fitness center, and four swimming pools complemented by whirlpools and cabanas. There is also a kid’s program, Club Aventuras, offering daily activities for children ages 4-12.
In 2027, Kimpton Tres Ríos will add a dedicated adults-only experience featuring rooms and suites with swim-up access and private plunge pools.
