Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica is undergoing some renovations to enhance guest experience that will debut by the end of 2026.

The resort will notably introduce 10 new one-bedroom suites, a refreshed Miramar Presidential Suite, a reimagined signature restaurant, and updated meeting and event spaces.

“We are committed to creating experiences that feel personal, intuitive, and deeply connected to this destination,” said General Manager Brent Martin. “These enhancements allow us to further evolve the resort in ways that feel meaningful to our guests; from how they relax and dine to how they come together.”

Each new suite will feature custom furnishings and sculptural lighting, as well as calming color palettes and verdant stone accents, all drawing from the natural surroundings. The suites will also have spa-like bathrooms with curved soaking tubs and layouts that invite natural light. The presidential suite will be reconfigured as a private indoor-outdoor retreat. The rest of the guest rooms will get a light refresh that enhances their residential feel.

The resort’s signature Latin American Steakhouse, Nemare, will also get a significant makeover that will deliver on more immersive and refined dining for guests. The restaurant will have a more thoughtful mix of seating, including an outdoor extension with communal tables.

Renovations will also extend to the more than 4,000-square-foot ballroom, which will incorporate biophilic design elements, sculptural lighting, and natural textures in its redesign.
