As the Rosewood Hotel Group accelerates its global expansion, the company has just opened its first ski resort, Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin.
Located in the French Alps, the new hotel offers an alpine retreat within the exclusive village of Courchevel 1850. When guests enter, they’ll be greeted with a two-crystalline structure installation suspended between mirrored walls and ceilings, creating the illusion of infinite, snowflake-like forms. The 51-key hotel is complete with luxury accommodations, elevated dining, curated wellness experiences, and direct ski‑in/ski‑out access.
“Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, our first ski resort, is a milestone that reflects our long‑term commitment to thoughtfully expanding our global portfolio and our ability to enter new, experience-driven sectors,” said Sonia Cheng, CEO of Rosewood Hotel Group. “We are guided by a clear ambition: to grow with purpose, to create enduring value, and to deliver transformative experiences that resonate with our communities. As we bring our brands to the world’s most extraordinary destinations, our vision and commitment remain focused on quality, innovation, and the sustainable success of our global business.”
The new hotel is just one piece to Rosewood’s global expansion, which in 2025 alone has included the openings of Rosewood Miyakojima in Japan, Rosewood Doha in Qatar, Rosewood Mandarina in Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit, Rosewood Amsterdam, and The Chancery Rosewood in London.
Rosewood’s anticipated openings include Rosewood AMAALA, Rosewood Red Sea, Rosewood Rome, Rosewood Dubai, and Rosewood Calistoga. The brand has also been expanding its Residences product alongside its hotels and resorts.
