The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is set to open on the Sarasota barrier island of Longboat, Florida in summer 2024.

The luxury beachside resort will make its debut as Marriott International’s St. Regis brand continues to grow its portfolio across the world. This is the only St. Regis opening in the United States this year (others are opening in Aruba and the Dominican Republic) and the largest property to open on Longboat in more than 50 years.

“The opening of The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort will redefine oceanside luxury and bespoke hospitality for the Gulf Coast,” said Winfred van Workum, general manager of The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. “This highly anticipated property not only marks the largest development on Longboat Key in over 50 years but also stands as the only St. Regis opening in the U.S. in 2024. We eagerly anticipate welcoming our guests to our beachside sanctuary, offering an experience that is as unique as it is unforgettable.”

Longboat Key Resort offers 168 guest rooms, including 26 suites with terraces. The property spans 18 acres and has 800 feet of private beach, multiple pools and cabanas, and four restaurants, as well as a 20,000-square-foot St. Regis Spa and a winding waterway and saltwater lagoon wildlife experience with stingrays, Galapagos turtles, and more.
