Tauck will add its first-ever tour in Colombia in 2025, as well as a brand-new Tauck Bridges itinerary in Japan.

Tauck’s arrival in Colombia
The tour operator will enter Colombia with the nine-day “Colombia: South America’s Eternal Spring” itinerary, which will include stays at Four Seasons in Bogotá, Medellín Marriott in Medellín, and Sofitel Legend Santa Clara in Cartagena.

The grand Colombia tour will include visits to the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum, the Salt Cathedral, Normandia Equestrian Center, Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, a local music school, and the popular Getsmani neighborhood of Cartagena.

Guests on the Colombia tour will also experience community walking tours, Colombian coffee tastings, and meals at local restaurants, all led by a local tour guide. “Colombia: South America’s Eternal Spring” will depart 12 times in 2025.

Tauck’s Japan expansion
In response to an increased demand for travel to Japan, Tauck is adding its first Tauck Bridges tour in Japan next year. The 10-day “Journey Through Japan… A Family Adventure” tour is designed specifically for families.

The itinerary includes hotel stays at Conrad Tokyo, Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora, Hilton Hiroshima, and Hotel the Mitsui Kyoto. Guests will visit Asakusa Kannon Temple, the Tsukiji Outer Market, Peace Memorial Museum and Park, the Kinkaku-ji Golden Pavilion, Nishiki Market, and more. Guests will also experience a sightseeing rickshaw ride, a sushi-making lesson and lunch, a pirate boat cruise, an okonomiyaki demonstration and dinner, a formal tea ceremony, a calligraphy lesson, and a Taiko drumming lesson.

“Journey Through Japan… A Family Adventure” joins Tauck’s two other Japan itineraries: the 13-day “Essence of Japan” land tour and the 14-day “Cruising the Land of the Rising Sun” small ship cruise. The new tour will depart nine times in 2025.
