Eurail
, the all-in-one rail pass service for European train passengers, has updated its Eurail Academy platform to help turn U.S.-based travel agents into Eurail Specialists. The online educational program provides travel advisors with a comprehensive introduction to the Eurail Pass, from benefits and product information to sales advice and recommended itineraries.

“As experts in the travel space, travel agents play a vital role in helping clients plan memorable vacations,” said Clarissa Mattos, North American market manager at Eurail. “We want to ensure they have all the tools needed at their disposal to succeed and give their clients the best possible advice.”

The course is broken up into beginner and advanced levels to allow agents to learn at their own pace. And by completing the course and becoming a Eurail Specialist in the U.S., travel advisors gain access to Eurail marketing materials and product resources. Other benefits include two Continuing Education Units (CEU) from The Travel Institute, and a chance to win a pair of Eurail Global Passes so they can experience the product first-hand.

Eurail will also give away a $500 Amazon Gift Card to the first agent to complete the course with a 100% score, in celebration of the Academy’s relaunch.
