Nothing says “vacation” like breathtaking ocean views. Clients will love these seven seaside hotels and resorts for their next tropical getaway.

Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas, Mexico)

Adults-only, all-inclusive, and brand-new: Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos has provided a relaxing respite to guests since it opened on the Sea of Cortez in January. It is Velas Resorts’ third Los Cabos property.

Those staying at the 79-suite boutique hotel have access to all the amenities at the neighboring Grand Velas Los Cabos. The resort features an infinity pool, fitness center, indoor and outdoor ocean view event spaces, and a private beach. Then there’s the SE Spa, which offers a range of treatments and focuses heavily on sound therapy. Guests will also have five top-notch dining options led by Michelin-starred chef Sidney Schutte.

Hotel Christopher (St. Barth’s)

Nestled in the clifftop gardens of St. Barth’s, Hotel Christopher – aka The Christopher Hotel – exudes understated luxury in paradise. The tropical retreat offers 48 rooms and suites, plus three new four-bedroom villas. The highest-level suite, Ocean Panoramic Suite, features a private jacuzzi and exterior beds right over the sea. All rooms have panoramic ocean views.

Hotel Christopher has the island’s largest infinity pool, and the Rivyera Restaurant offers a fine dining experience curated by Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Faye. Both the pool area and restaurant overlook the ocean, as do Sisley Spa’s five treatment rooms.

Nantipa (Costa Rica)

This small-scale, intimate resort aims to give guests an authentic Costa Rica experience. Visitors can choose from four accommodations: the Ninta Beachfront Bungalow, Manti Bungalow, Nanku Suite, and Beachfront Villa. Each is spacious with its own unique touches, from outdoor showers and hammocks to plunge pools and mini bars.

Nantipa’s Manzu, a beachfront restaurant, serves traditional local dishes and tasty cocktails. The hotel also features the Numu Wellness Center which offers personalized retreats that can include surfing lessons, hiking, yoga, spa treatments, and volunteer opportunities. Guests can take advantage of the adjacent sister property’s activities, as well, including rainforest ziplines, forest bathing, and more.

The Gabriel South Beach (Miami, Florida)

The Gabriel South Beach, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, is an Art Deco-inspired, boutique property centrally located on Miami’s Ocean Drive. The historic hotel first opened as Park Central Hotel in the late 1930’s. It now boasts 132 modern, coastal chic guest rooms across four buildings.

Famed street artist Mr. Brainwash has a five-story mural on the side of the hotel, leading to a glass bottom pool. The Gabriel South Beach also has two bars, two restaurants, two oceanside, all suite buildings, and a courtyard pool. The hotel offers rooftop yoga classes and a fitness center.

The Inn at English Harbour (Antigua)

An air of exclusivity surrounds The Inn at English Harbour. The boutique Caribbean retreat offers colonial-style beach cabanas, two-story villas, and 28 guest rooms – all situated across 19 acres of woodland and gardens.

Guests can dine at the Terrace Restaurant and Stone Bar within the property’s original stone building, which includes a wine cellar, or The Reef, the hotel’s beachside restaurant on its private pier. The Inn at English Harbour also features a spa, infinity pool, library and tearoom, tennis court, and private beach.

The Potlatch Club (Eleuthera, Bahamas)

Formerly in near disrepair, The Potlatch recently completed seven years of restoration to become a luxury boutique property with just 11 accommodations. These include: three newly built whitewashed suites, three garden cottages, three ocean-facing cottages, and one 1-bedroom and one 4-bedroom ocean-view villas that include butler service.

The Potlatch Club is set on 12 acres of historic land, a resort that was frequented by celebrities in the ’60s and ’70s before being abandoned in the ’80s. This revived iteration features a two-room Acqua Spa, intimate dining venues, and a pristine beach offering opportunities for both lounging and a variety of watersports.

Zemi Beach House (Anguilla)

This 76-room luxury boutique resort stands out for its Rhum Room, which specializes in single-batch rums, and 307-year-old Thai House Spa, a building that was transported to the island from Thailand in the ’80s.

Zemi Beach House has several restaurants that offer guests an authentic taste of Anguilla, as well as Latin American and Mediterranean cuisine. Dining options include The Bohio Bar & Sushi Lounge, Stone, and the Shoal Bay Beach Club.
