Viceroy Hotels & Residences is set to open a New York City property in December 2026.

The flagship Viceroy Park Avenue will be in the heart of Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood, at the corner of Park Avenue South and 29th Street. The hotel will feature sizable accommodations, a rooftop pool and lounge, Tao Group Hospitality dining concepts, and a Wellness Penthouse Suite.

Arash Azarbarzin, CEO of Viceroy Hotels & Residences, noted that Viceroy’s re-entry into New York City is a significant milestone that represents the brand’s evolution toward a “more thoughtful, experiential approach to luxury hospitality,” especially as travelers today seek “moments that feel authentic, personal, and connected to the places they visit.”

“With Viceroy Park Avenue, we are creating a hotel that reflects the energy and cultural spirit of New York City while delivering a style of hospitality that feels refined yet relaxed, elevated yet human,” Azarbarzin said. “New York is one of the most important hospitality markets in the world, and our return to the city is an important step in the continued growth of the Viceroy brand.”

The new hotel will have 252 guestrooms and suites, including four presidential suites, all of which will rank among Manhattan’s most spacious guest accommodations. The 2,100-square-foot Wellness Penthouse Suite will have integrated wellness amenities, such as a private infrared sauna, cold plunge, fitness equipment, and recovery technology, as well as an indoor fireplace and outdoor terrace.

On the third floor will be the hotel’s dedicated spa and fitness center featuring four treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and Technogym equipment.

The hotel is partnering with Tao Group Hospitality for food and beverage options. This will include a signature ground-floor restaurant and café, and a penthouse-level rooftop cocktail lounge beside the outdoor pool, pool bar, and social spaces. In addition, the hotel will offer more than 15,000 square feet of flexible private event space.
