W Punta Cana, Adult All-Inclusive Appoints Director of Sales and Marketing

W Hotels has appointed Miriam Herandez as the director of sales and marketing for the new W Punta Cana, Adult All-Inclusive.
Now part of the Dominican Republic resort’s opening leadership team, Hernandez will oversee the resort’s commercial strategy, focusing on brand positioning, driving revenue, and cultivating industry partnerships.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape a new chapter for both the W brand and the all-inclusive category,” Hernandez said. “W Punta Cana is unlike any other property in the Caribbean, and together with this talented team, we offer an inspired strategy, creative storytelling, and passionate partnerships, putting the property on the global stage.”
Hernandez brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality, travel, and technology sectors. Before joining Marriott, she held leadership positions at Hyatt and Expedia Group, where she was director of market management for the Caribbean region.
W Punta Cana is W Hotels’ first-ever all-inclusive property and features 340 guest rooms, 13 restaurants and bars, and a spa.
