Nexion Travel Group says that while travel advisors have more technology at their disposal than ever before, it believes the next opportunity isn’t giving them another tool — it’s making the tools, information and resources they already have work better together.
That’s the stated philosophy behind the next generation of myNexion and the introduction of OurNeighborhood, two connected platforms designed to make it easier for Nexion members to run their businesses, find what they need and work with the technology they choose.
“Technology should remove work from an advisor’s day, not add to it,” said Laura Bjorne, VP, Business Operations. “We’re building around the advisor, making it easier to see what needs attention, find information and connect Nexion members with the tools they choose to run their businesses.”

myNexion: A More Connected Business Workspace
The established operational hub for Nexion members, myNexion has been rebuilt on a new technology foundation designed for greater speed and ease of use, while supporting deeper integrations, automation and AI capabilities over time.
The new myNexion brings important business information and actions forward, including financial reminders, key actions and progress toward Nexion’s Excellence recognition levels.
The advisor network is also working to connect myNexion more closely with the technology members already use. Integrations with Tern and Travefy are part of that strategy, with additional CRM platforms being evaluated.
Rather than prescribing a single technology platform, Nexion’s approach gives advisors the freedom to choose the tools that best fit their businesses while working to reduce duplicate work between those systems and Nexion.
“Our members are entrepreneurs, and choice matters,” Bjorne said. “Our goal isn’t to dictate how an advisor should operate. It’s to make Nexion work more effectively with the way they choose to operate.”
The new myNexion will launch in the United States in November, followed by Canada in early 2027.

OurNeighborhood: Making Vast Resources More Accessible
OurNeighborhood tackles a different challenge: making Nexion’s information, resources and community easier to access. The new digital home brings together Nexion news, partner information and promotions, education, events, marketing resources and community content. AI-powered search and discovery will allow members to ask questions naturally and surface relevant information from across OurNeighborhood without needing to know where it lives. The goal is simple: ask Nexion instead of hunting through Nexion.
Together, myNexion and OurNeighborhood aim to move Nexion away from a member experience spread across multiple systems and toward one that is more connected and built around the advisor.
“Independent doesn’t have to mean doing everything independently,” said Jackie Friedman, VTA, CTIE, President, Nexion Travel Group. “Our role is to put the technology, resources and community behind our members while giving them the freedom to build a business that is distinctly their own.”
