Marriott Expands Portfolio In Asia-Pacific, Debuts Two Brands

Marriott International is on track to open 80 hotels, as well as debuting two brands, in the Asia-Pacific region in the remaining half of 2017.

Marriott will introduce MOXY Hotels, its Next Gen boutique hotel brand, with the opening of MOXY Tokyo this year. The premium Delta Hotels brand also is set to debut, with Delta Hotels by Marriott Shanghai Baoshan slated to open this summer.

The company will now offer a total of 23 brands and an additional 19,000 new rooms in the region.

By 2021, Marriott expects to open more than 500 properties in Asia Pacific
