Hotel Riu Palace Aruba Reopens After Renovations

RIU Hotels & Resorts just reopened Hotel Riu Palace Aruba, unveiling comprehensive renovations to the hotel’s accommodations and public spaces. 

The Spanish hospitality chain has been operating in Aruba since 2007, and Hotel Riu Palace Aruba remains one of the most elegant properties in the brand’s Caribbean portfolio. This new transformation retains the hotel’s classic aesthetic while introducing modern design elements, such as letting in more natural light in the lobby. 

All the hotel’s guest rooms have been refurbished with light color palettes and natural materials. This includes newly appointed Elite Club rooms, 31 of which feature private pools. RIU designated the rooms with the best views in the Elite Club category. Now, guests staying in those rooms will have access to an exclusive restaurant and dedicated sun lounger area with beachside bar service. 

The hotel’s reopening also includes the reimagining of its food and beverage concepts, including the menus, restaurant interior design, and overall service. Hotel Riu Palace Aruba now features the Steakhouse; the main restaurant, Don Nicolás, an international buffet; the fusion-inspired Krystal; the Asian-themed Sayuri; the Italian restaurant Milano; and two casual dining options, Pepe’s Food and Tiki Taco.   

RIU Hotels & Resorts also recently unveiled renovations at Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun as the hotel operator elevates offerings across its portfolio.
