Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has announced plans for its seventh Florida property: a luxury Orlando hotel within a new mixed-used downtown development.

Kimpton Orlando will be located next to the Kia Center arena and within Westcourt, a new sports and entertainment district, which chose Kimpton, an IHG Hotels & Resorts brand, as its hotel partner.

“We join Westcourt on a journey to provide guests with a one-of-a kind boutique respite, which will open the door to an array of new and expansive experiences for travelers and locals to enjoy within the heartbeat of the city,” said Leanne Harwood, SVP and managing director for Luxury & Lifestyle Americas at IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Set to open in early 2027, the 11-story Kimpton Orlando will have 261 guestrooms, a lobby bar and restaurant, cafe, pool bar, and pool lounge. It will also feature16,000 square feet of meeting space.

Kimpton Orlando will offer all of the Kimpton brand’s signature programs: Kimpton Kickstart morning coffee and tea, Kimpton Social evenings, the “Forgot It? We’ve Got It!” service, in-room yoga mats, and pet-friendly policies.

Above the hotel, Westcourt will incorporate 265 multi-family rental units. Westcourt will be an eight-acre development, including 1.5 acres of public outdoor space. The project allots 300,000 square feet for office space and 120,000 square feet for retail, dining, and entertainment. This will include a 3,500-capacity live event venue. There will also be a 1,140-space parking garage.
