Mandarin Oriental’s newest resort, Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, is now open. It is the luxury brand’s third hotel in Spain, joining Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, and Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid.
Formerly the historic Hotel Punta Negra, Mandarin Oriental has revived the property and made it a luxury retreat that blends contemporary design with Mediterranean aesthetics. The resort offers high-end dining, experiences, and spa and wellness facilities in the desirable location of Calvià on the island’s southwest coast, near the luxury marina of Puerto Portals. Guests can arrive at the resort via an exclusive private yacht transfer.

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra features 131 rooms and suites, including an array of garden and sea view rooms, plunge pool rooms, rooftop suites, penthouse suites, casitas, and more.
The resort also features six distinct restaurants, each with their own style of cuisine, and a wellness center with indoor and outdoor spaces, including pools, a fitness studio, and relaxation room.
For activities, the resort offers yoga, tennis, cycling, golf, and an art gallery. In celebration of the grand opening, the hotel is currently offering the “Be the First to Stay” package for two, which includes a two-night accommodation, welcome cocktail, locally inspired gift, daily breakfast, and daily credit towards a dining experience or spa treatment.
