Marriott is continuing to expand its all-inclusive portfolio.

Last month, the hotel giant opened its newest all-inclusive resort, the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, a new 1,000-plus room property located about half an hour’s drive south of Cancun International Airport.

The new property offers suites across 12 different categories, all with some signature Royalton touches including a bathroom rain shower and DreamBed. Some of the suites in the higher categories also include a Jacuzzi en-suite.

For food and drink, the resort includes ten a la carte restaurants, including Royalton’s largest Hunter Steak House ever, a buffet, a sports bar, and ten different bars.

For entertainment and activities, the resort offers a spa, gym, water park, two lazy rivers, 14 water slides, a trampoline park, laser tag room, bowling alley, kids club, and more.

“With the opening of Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, the newest addition to Royalton Luxury Resorts portfolio, we are proud to usher in the era of experiential hospitality in one of the most sought-after vacation destinations in the Caribbean,” said Jordi Pelfort, President, Hotels, and Resorts of Sunwing Travel Group.

“The all-inclusive hotel industry has evolved rapidly and in record time we have managed to create a product inspired by our first model in Punta Cana, that is designed to offer the best experiences to all types of travelers,” he added.
