Park Hyatt New York Will Get Multimillion Dollar Renovation
by Briana Bonfiglio /Park Hyatt New York will undergo a multimillion renovation as the luxury hotel celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
Enhancements to the 211-room, 5-star hotel, located on Billionaire’s Row just across from Carnegie Hall and a block from Central Park, will notably include the addition of the Manhattan Suite on the top floor.
“We are thrilled to unveil this remarkable transformation as we celebrate our 10th anniversary,” said Laurent Ebzant, area vice president and general manager of Park Hyatt New York. “The introduction of the Manhattan Suite and the upgrades to our existing product reflect our unwavering commitment to providing guests with the most tailored and elevated hospitality experience.”
The Manhattan Suite will be in its own private wing of the 25th floor with the option to connect to two guestrooms. The spaces will form a three-bedroom suite with three and a half bathrooms, a living area with a dining table for eight, a fully stocked wet bar, a butler’s kitchen, and a private office. The suite will have 18-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies overlooking Central Park.
Park Hyatt New York’s transformation also includes the relocation of the Rossano Ferretti salon, which was completed in June, and Spa Nalai closer to the indoor saltwater pool, which will reopen in the fall.
The hotel will also revamp its specialty suites, refreshing their look and decor, and adding fireplaces to rooms with outdoor terraces. These changes are set to be completed by January 2025.
