Resorts World Las Vegas Forms Board of Directors

Resorts World Las Vegas, part of Genting Berhad, has established a board of directors.
The leaders of the new board are Chairman Jim Murren and CEO Alex Dixon, who are both veterans in the gaming and hospitality industry.
“As Resorts World Las Vegas continues to establish itself as the premier resort destination in Las Vegas, we are excited to welcome this group of industry leaders overseeing and guiding the leadership team to deliver unparalleled guest experiences while fostering our commitment to compliance,” said Kok Thay Lim, chairman and chief executive of Genting Berhad.
Murren brings experience as the former CEO and chairman of MGM Resorts. Dixon is a Las Vegas native who was formerly CEO at Q Casino & Resort and Dubuque Racing Association.
The board is rounded out by two independent and one non-independent member. A.G. Burnett, a partner in the Gaming & Administrative Law Group with McDonald Carano, and Michelle DiTondo, a human resources executive at Avion Consulting, Inc., are the independent members. Kong Han Tan, president, COO and executive director of Genting Berhad, is also on the board.
