The Newest Margaritaville Hotel Is Now Open for Booking
by Daniel McCarthy /The Margaritaville Beach House Key West, the newest property from the Margaritaville brand, is now accepting reservations for its opening later this month.
The resort, which officially opens on Nov. 15, 2021, was once the Barbary Beach House Key West and has been rebranded and upgraded before joining the Margaritaville family, sits along Key West’s Smathers Beach, the largest public beach in the area, one mile from Key West International Airport, and just a short walk away from Old Town.
It offers 186 suites, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and wheelchair-accessible options.
Part of its rebrand included the creation of the Tin Cup Chalice Bar & Chill, a new restaurant and bar concept for Margaritaville that serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including tropical cocktails, alongside the resort’s lagoon-style pool.
Guests will get access to other amenities including a 24-hour fitness center, lawn games, lounging hammocks poolside, bike rentals, and more. The resort also has space for meetings and conventions, including indoor banquet space and outdoor gardens and courtyards.
“Key West is the perfect location for our new Margaritaville destination, providing guests with a relaxing oasis to escape, unwind, and enjoy the laid-back lifestyle,” the hotel’s general manager Jeremy DaSilva said.
The opening continues a streak of news from Margaritaville.
The new Margaritaville Cap Cana, built in partnership with Karisma, just recently welcomed its first guests earlier this month. That followed the opening of another property, Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau, earlier in the summer. And the newest flagship property from the brand is up and running in New York’s Times Square.
